Melasma

Melasma is a common pigmentary disorder characterized by symmetric, brown or gray patches, most commonly on the face. Melasma can affect anyone. Exacerbating factors include pregnancy, use of oral contraceptives, medications, and sun exposure.

Treatment

Treatment uses a combination of topical creams, chemical peels and laser treatments such as Intense Pulsed Light, Clear + Brilliant®, and Fraxel®.
